Bob will be getting a perma-cath "installed" on Wednesday and begin dialysis on Thursday. He'll be on dialysis three times a week for four hours each time. We're so thankful that he's getting into the system so quickly. Then by the middle of the month he'll go back on chemo as well. Scheduling these two procedures will be a challenge so that the chemo doesn't get "dialyzed" out.
My brother Jim who has gastro-esophogeal cancer, will begin to receive both chemo and radiation beginning the middle of August. He'll be getting large daily doses for a few weeks, so will likely be feeling pretty sick. Then he'll get a few weeks' rest before surgery in early November. In the meantime he continues to ride his bicycle for about twenty miles a day and his wife Kim is preparing the most nutritious cancer-fighting food for him!! I know they would appreciate your prayers.
Our son David and his wife Ann and their two little boys Billy (6) and Manny (4) are arriving from western NY on Tuesday for eight days!! We are SO blessed!!
