Grandkids here---YEAH!!

The pictures really tell the story. Vi was also here for the weekend but left to return to Edmonton at noon today. She and Bob had some great chances to relax together while the rest of us went on a few excursions. The kids loved being with her too. She's a very special Auntie

Bob's actually been feeling well enough to enjoy our wonderful brood!! Grandchilren are good medicine!! They leave to return to Regina tomorrow. And David, Ann, Billy, and Manny arrived on Aug. 2, staying for eight days.

We hope to make some progress getting Bob on dialysis in this next week.

Tim and Kim's children are Colby--8, Gracyn--6, Carson--4, and Mykenna--2. Pure delight!!!

We've spent a lot of time eating, playing, laughing and talking together. Papa's been getting lots of head rubs and Grammy gets lots of help making carrot/apple juice for Papa. We went to the Greater Vancouver Zoo yesterday and to the beach in the evening, to church this morning, and are going for a picnic tonight!!

Bob hasn't gone on most of the excursions except to the beach, but he joins in the fun when everyone is here. We're sure glad we saved the boys' Lego from over 30 years ago!! The guest suite in our condo complex is just fabulous and is right down the hall from our condo. And the weather's been just perfect so we can spill out onto the patio.

We continue to be full of THANKS for God's goodness--and family is at the top!! We are SO blessed!!
