Wonderful time together . . .

. . . but now we need to rest!!!

I got a bit carried away with posting pix so will exercise a bit more restraint today!!

We had a picnic with our dear friends Chris and Lyle Hopwood last evening, who have been like an aunt and uncle to our kids for the past 30 years. It was a great location to take family pictures and we're pleased with how they turned out.

Tim, Kim and the children left late this morning. Now we have a week to rest and prepare for David and Ann and their two little guys!!

Bob did amazingly well while the kids were here. He had much more stamina AND stimulation than he's had in a while. We know that it was much due to having our wonderful grandchildren here, but also sense that he's feeling better in general.

Tomorrow morning he has an appointment with his nephrologist and we're hoping and praying that there will be some more positive and speedy movement toward dialysis.
