Dialysis!!

Bob saw his nephrologist this morning and he has decided that it's time to get Bob on dialysis, at least temporarily. We'll see if it brings much improvement to his kidney function and over-all sense of well-being. Since Bob won't be having chemo for another two and a half weeks, this is a good time to begin.

Bob will get a port-a-cath inserted in his upper chest area quite soon, rather than having his veins poked every time he's hooked up to the dialysis machine.

We're very thankful that finally Bob's kidney problems will be receiving more potentially effective treatment.
